Cotton Yarn
Tahki Yarns Ripple
Usually when you see mercerized cotton, it’s a smooth texture, but Tahki Ripple is aptly named because of the little ripples along the way. They create great texture in your finished project. Made in Italy.

Comments about Tahki Yarns Ripple:
Works up great as a loose lacy pattern. Fun and different, but be careful of the colors. What I saw online was not what I received. I had to return one batch as it was much different that what I wanted.

Comments about Tahki Yarns Ripple:
I made a sweater that hangs beautifully. Working with it took a little getting used to because of the varied widths of the strand. This also made counting rows and correcting stitches more difficult, but this is a fun, unique yarn. Love the colors, which were accurately presented on the website.

I had to go down a needle size to get the tension required and then needed extra yarn to complete the project, but the finished look was well worth it.

Comments about Tahki Yarns Ripple:
Fun texture, hangs nicely, doesn't stretch. The colors are super-rich. My only problems, as an advanced beginner, came when I had to try and fix mistakes... the varied width of the yarn sometimes made it difficult to pull out one stitch, because wider segments of yarn would pull out several.

Comments about Tahki Yarns Ripple:
I love he surprising texture that happens hap-hazzardly because the little lumps hang up on each other unpredictably. It is difficult to figure gauge because it's different from one section to another depending on when the lumps get hung up. Best to knit a large swatch, measure overall size an divide by number of stitches cast on.

Comments about Tahki Yarns Ripple:
I bought this yarn sight unseen because I wanted to knit pattern number 13 "Silver Dollar" from the Tahki Yarns Spring/Summer Collection pattern book. The sweater turned out beautiful and I would like to knit another sweater with the Ripple yarn.
