There are good and bad points on this yarn. Good - it is soft, not at all warm for tropical weather, give well-definied stitches, not splitty, nice hand, and can survive gentle machine-wash. Bad - Pilly (can't wear with any dark colour garment) and heavy (for its weight). In addition, I wonder how long will the garment made out of this yarn will last due to its pilly nature. Only time can tell.

Comments about Cascade Yarns Pima Tencel:
Product has beautiful texture, but it is being discontinued. I ordered the amount my project stated, but it ended up not being enough, and when I came back to order more, the color is no longer available. Be careful and purchase more than you think you need for any project.

I love purchasing yarn from yarn.com....as there are so many options and it brings about an air of uniqueness, rather than having the same style/color yarn at the local hobby shops. :)

I love the deep rich colors of Pima Tencel and the heavy yet drapey weight. I made Desiree, a summer poncho from the book "Viva Poncho" by Stork & Barbazette. Perfect!

Project Linus received about half enough for a preemie blanket and I was able to match the dye lot from your site to complete a blanket that could be used for one of our little ones.
