This was perhaps one of the worst yarns I have ever used .. best compared to knitting with twine.

Nice yarn and pretty colour. I am making a short sleeve spring top with lace features at the bottom edge. It does unravel a bit but still knits up nicely

Comments about Knit One Crochet Too 2nd Time Cotton:
A lovely yarn to work with. I am allergic to wool and cannot knit with anything other than cotton yarns, so I was so pleased to find this particular yarn. It knits beautifully with a kind of "slub" look to it.....

THis is made in USA, the color to dye for (tee hee). It's a scrumptous dark green/blue/black with a winderful shine. It is perfect for the tank top I chose it for!

Comments about Knit One Crochet Too 2nd Time Cotton:
I would hesitate to describe this product as "soft." It may be soft enough for some uses. I'm trying to figure out which ones. It is definitely not something you'd use for kids clothing or a kids' blanket. This is one of those times when you need to feel the yarn before buying. It is probably going to be okay for a summer weight sweater, but it has a slightly stiff quality to it. Will see what I think when I wash it.
I DO appreciate the fact that this is made from recycled fibers. I might give this a recommendation to a friend---but with caveats!

Comments about Knit One Crochet Too 2nd Time Cotton:
This yarn is great, slightly rustic looking dye. I didn't have any problem getting gauge for "Hey Teach" from Knitty.com, which was designed using this yarn. It seems to be standard worsted weight and I can't image using it double. Yeah - it snags some but it's a zillion ply so that's to be expected. Finished weight feels like a nicely worn sweatshirt, Stonewash looks like faded-out jeans.

Comments about Knit One Crochet Too 2nd Time Cotton:
Used in several projects. To get thickness of a normal worsted weight, had to use two strands. Overall, love it, especially that it's repurposed materials! http://www.GoodDaySunshineStore.com for finished projects.
