Comments about Mirasol Akapana:
The softness of this yarn is incredible. I'm very sensitive to textures and often find myself cringing while touching things other people say are soft. I'll be coming back to this yarn for other projects.
The product description doesn't say anything about it being a thick/thin yarn, but it is. Some areas are bulky and others are about a DK weight. I was making a pouch and needed the resulting fabric to be more uniform so I ended up using 2 strands when I used the Tunisian Honeycomb crochet stitch. The details of the stitches came out wonderfully and the different colored specks added a really nice touch.
