Exotic Fibers
Mirasol Miski
The enticing touch-ability of this super-soft yarn and its inviting tweedy palette alone would make this a must-buy for any knitter, but add in the fact that all proceeds go back to the community, to educate Peru’s disadvantaged children, and the deal is done. Two plies with a hint of fuzz, MISKI knits at a worsted gauge, and the garments created with it will be soft, warm, and lightweight. Spun in Peru.

This is a beautiful alpaca blend which I love. It does shed which I find with most alpacas, but it is soft to knit with, and really nice to wear.

I love this yarn, and I'm having trouble making up my mind how to use it because it is so beautiful. I design my own patterns and I'm sing a lacy stitch. It world up beautifully, and I want to keep knitting on it, it is so pleasurable. I love alpaca, and this one is no exception.

Comments about Mirasol Miski:
My daughter is allergic to wool, but not to llama. She has just moved to a climate with very cold winters and is looking forward to keeping warm and comfortable with the beautiful möbius I've make for her. The texture of this yarn is so soft and lofty, I enjoyed every minute I spent working with it.

Comments about Mirasol Miski:
I used this for baby socks and loved the feel, the way it knits up so smoothly in whatever stitch is used, and the final look. I used size 1 bamboo dp's.

Comments about Mirasol Miski:
Great yarn to work with, very soft. Cables stand out, but look soft and defined.
Comments about Mirasol Miski:
This yarn is extremely soft but doesn't seem to separate or pill easily. I adore it.
Comments about Mirasol Miski:
This yarn was a true pleasure to work with. It is super soft and has a bit of a halo when finished. It even held up well through multiple unravelings. The only drawback is that the yarn has that strong oily smell of burlap, but Soak wash should take care of that. I would buy this yarn again without hesitation.
