Comments about Debbie Bliss Angel:
Love this yarn, it's beautiful and knits nicely. It's hard to tell what weight this yarn is, some sources say aran weight, I would say it's a bit lighter. maybe I just need to work with it more.

Used the yarn double to replicate Alpag'Anny Clara which is no longer available. The pattern is from Anny Blatt Knitting Elegance Number 9. Slightly paler but looks really great.

Comments about Debbie Bliss Angel:
The small afghan I am crocheting will be warm and beautiful. The colors offered are numerous and soothing without being strictly pastels. I love the "furry" feel of the mohair in which the silk brings a soft richness.
Because of the mohair the yarn is a bit fussy to work with. When I had to remove part of a row I had to be extremely careful since the yarn has a tendency to stick to itself forming a knot and not easily releasing. The sticking makes the tension tricky but as long as I work slowly it works fine.
Even with the fussiness I love the look and feel of the yarn and would use it again.
Service and delivery comments:
The customer service was good at communicating order completion and shipping. Although one of the colors I selected was back ordered the email sent gave me the option of purchasing another color since the company could not guarantee when the back order would be filled--could be right away or as long as 2 to 3 weeks. I chose to wait as I didn't need the color immediately and it showed up only 3 days after the original order. I appreciated the clarity and giving me a choice rather than apologizing weeks later if the yarn still had not shown up.
Delivery has always been swift.

Can be difficult to knit but the finished product inspires me every time. I make newborn photography props - wraps, bonnets, beanies, etc and the yarn is so kind to wee babes' skin. And the colours are gorgeous.

Comments about Debbie Bliss Angel:
I love working with this yarn, it creates a delicate and feminine fuzzy lace that others look at and feel, and are amazed that I made that cowl! It creates a unique gift that looks much more expensive than it cost to make, so that the "hand crafting" is truly appreciated! It will shed if fingered too hard, but you can also "spin" the mohair back onto the yarn if necessary. I think this yarn is best suited for intermediate + knitters as it is delicate and won't take a lot of tearing out and re-knitting. The Colors and Evenness are Amazing! Truly one of my favorites!

Comments about Debbie Bliss Angel:
I am knitting lace scarfs and shawls and love using Debbie Bliss Angel yarn. This yarn holds it's shape so the holes that I create in my pattern are maintained with out the stiff scratchy effect of other yarns. This is a dream to touch with a tactile benefit that comes close to cashmere and a visual benefit of the sheen of silk. It looks beautiful and feels beautiful. It does knot when unraveling so maybe not a good choice for a beginning knitter.

Comments about Debbie Bliss Angel:
I made a Downton Abby hat with the yarn. It knits up very fast, but you do have to watch out for mistakes because the yarn is fine and fuzziness tends to hide it. I had to do a lot of frogging before I got it right but it was all worth it in the end. This was my first experience with this weight of yarn but it won't be my last. I plan the make another hat and a scarf for my granddaughter.
