This yarn was extremely soft and the color is so vibrant. This yarn is pretty delicate though for some reason; it sheds just a little bit and kind of seems like it will unravel more easily than other yarns if you aren't somewhat gentle with it. But if you know what you're going to knit and aren't constantly ripping out your pattern/ garment then you'll be totally fine. This yarn seems like it will produce a very lightweight and drapey garment which is a plus.

Beautiful Sheen
This yarn is lightweight, very soft, and extremely silky. Slips easily during crochet process but makes up nicely. Lightly warm and pleasant. Sheds some.

I am making a shawl/big scarf with this yarn. It is knitting up perfectly, and a joy to knit with. I love the sheen the silk gives it, as well as how soft it is.

Comments about Debbie Bliss Andes:
Andes yarn is delightful stuff, very soft and easy to work with. It is alpaca and silk, and is not washable unless you happen to want a felted product, but I personally like that feature. I also adore alpaca yarn and wool, so you might say I'm a bit biased in favor of this yarn. The colors are fabulous and very intense, the hand is amazing, and generally, I find this yarn incredibly pleasant to use.

I used this yarn for scarves. Love the feel of it. Not available in the stores near my house, so makes it tough to figure out the colors online which is a drawback.

Comments about Debbie Bliss Andes:
I loved this yarn. It was just what I was looking for. My cousin had chemo and radiation. She needed a warm extra soft scarf for that chicago weather. Also she want something a bit more coral and less pink.
:) This is what I picked up and I had a hard time parting with it. lol
