Same great quality as Cascade 220 Superwash for lighter weight projects. 100% wool. Wears and washes well. My new go to yarn for baby and kid's projects including afghans. Great color pallette. Strangely though, this 220 isn't 220 yards.

I wanted a medium weight yarn to make a hat and scarf for my granddaughter. Its great that it comes in so many colors - she chose the Royal Purple. I love that it is so soft and not at all scratchy. Best part is that it can go into the wash. Apparently my granddaughter who is 5 has been wearing the scarf constantly since it arrived. So, she likes the yarn as much as I do, but for different reasons.
