I made a gorgeous pair of socks for a fundraiser auction. I used "flashy mint" and it came out looking like a fire opal -- glints of various colors in a relatively light hue

I have knitted both a lacy scarf & a pair of gloves with this yarn. Great stitch definition, beautiful finished product, blocks well. The only problem I have is that I'm getting older (aren't we all) & I have difficulty seeing the stitches when I knit in the evening. I love the beautiful colors so I generally knit with this yarn in daylight - easier to see.

This yarn is absolutely dreamy and the colorway is beautiful. I made socks and it feels like my feet are wrapped in a cloud. Beware though, this is more of a DK weight than fingering!

I was dissappointed that the color shown verses what I received did not matchI had two skeins and wanted a third, but the one I received did not work with what I had even if I had done alternate row adding yarn.

I wanted to update my previous review. I decided to reskein the yarn and wash it before I continuted knitting with it. I expected the wash water to have lots of excess dye, based on the color of my hands when I was knitting. However, there was almost no dye in the wash water. I'm not an experienced dyer, so I don't know why there was color on my hands, but not in the water. The yarn is very soft and lovely to work with.

I would recommend prewashing the skein to remove any excess dye. My fingernails are currently dyed blue because of the excess dye in the yarn.
