Comments about Dream in Color Starry:
Beautiful color and the silver sparkles are unique. However, being a newer batch the amount of silver doesn't match the current skein I have. So make sure you buy enough the first time.

Comments about Dream in Color Starry:
I used this product to make the Bigger on the Inside Scarf pattern from Knitty. It was the perfect compliment to the Tardis blue solid yarn I had for the bottom part. This yarn made the perfect lace "universe" for my Tardis scarf to fly though. I just loved it so much, I bought more to make another one.

Comments about Dream in Color Starry:
This yarn is deceptively coarse to the touch, but somehow is not itchy in the least. When touching this yarn with your fingers, there seems to be no hint of softness. It feels coarse! But remarkably, the yarn makes into wonderfully cozy items that you will love to feel next to your skin! This company makes yarn that is 'bouncy' and almost stretchy. I first knit this on large needles (#9) and although I have a very loose tension, the result was too stiff for my taste. I unraveled (very easy with this yarn) and started over on huge needles (#13!) with a lacy stitch. I am thrilled with the results. I think this yarn is best when worked loosely. It is fortunate that I bought this yarn off the Internet, because had I only touched it, I would not have tried it due to the texture. But I cannot emphasize enough that this yarn would make very comfortable items of any type. Lastly, the color ways are beautiful, I purchased the teal azul color, and the tones are wonderfully blended. The sparkle is also a very nice touch.

Comments about Dream in Color Starry:
The description says it is a fingering weight, it is NOT. This is a sock yarn, and having is listed under Lace is misleading. it is beautiful and soft, but completely wrong for my project, so I will be returning is and shopping elsewhere. :(

Merchant response: Dream in Color lists this yarn as going up to 9 stitches to the inch. Our lace category includes this gauge, but we've removed it now to avoid any confusion. This yarn will be most suitable knit up at a fingering weight. As always, if you're ever unsatisfied with a yarn, contact our customer service department for return information at customerservice@yarn.com.
