Love this yarn. It's easy to knit and it washes like a dream just getting softer. It is a little hard texturely when knitting, but nothing like 100% linen. It makes a great shawl. The only drawback is that the gold that I bought has a sort of strange green cast in some lights that I don't care for. I'm now searching for pattern where it will work.

Great product, not for beginner, since it is less forgiving, and if you look close you can see what of the yarn is merino and what is linen. This isn't really bad because it blends well in projects, so you get the soft of merino and the sheen of linen.

I've used it in the worsted weight to knit a lacey cardigan, and in the sport weight to tunisian crochet a pullover. The fabric of the finished items is warm, soft, drapey. It is lovely that it can be machine-washed, and will keep getting softer. You have to be sure to completely dress the swatch with washing and drying to get the proper guage. I found the sport weight to be less splitty than the worsted weight.

This yarn is absolutely beautiful- the richest, most scrumptiously dyed yarn I've ever used. At first, it seemed a bit splitty but I quickly learned how to work with it and this has not been a problem at all. I'm currently using the navy to knit a summer top and plan to buy more in other colors while it is available. Don't hesitate to purchase this yarn.

Made a Shaw and very nice st. Definition. Had to take care the yarn split some. Best needles to use was lace needles. Beautiful yarn. Would buy again. Quick delivery.

I loved working with this yarn and wearing items made out of it! It is soft enough to be comforable wearing as a top and durable enough to withstand repeated machine washing without significant pilling. It also has a great sheen that constantly generates complements.
