This is such a prettty yarn that I hate to give it only 4 stars. My sweater looks great, but it just seemed splitty at times and a few fuzzes made me think this may not wear well. I made a baby sweater out of it, which is probably not a good idea. I would say that it just doesn't seem as tough as their sock yarn or their pashmina which I just used and loved!!!

I am knitting a sweater using the Baltic Color, and yes I do expect the dye to bleed a bit when I wash/rinse it. This is an independent dyer, not a factory dying this yarn. It is to be expected, which I do. I love this yarn for a lightweight sweater. . . I would definitely buy again!

I made a sweater with this out of the tart dk. When I washed it by hand in cold water with wool soap, it bled so much, the water was dark red. I still have one skein left and was going to use it in a striped sweater but won't now.
