Comments about Plymouth Yarn Select DK Merino Superwash:

I was pleasantly surprised at the yarn for the amount I paid for it. It feels and performs like a much more expensive yarn, and the colors are soft yet saturated. I use wool a lot, but cannot myself wear it close to my neck or wrists. Now I can have the warmth of wool!! Does not have any type of scratchy feel to it at all. I will be buying more for personal use.

I've never had a problem with any yarn I've purchased from webs. I have only returned yarn once and that was a color issue not they arm.

My order with yarn.com is always perfect. The prices are awesome and the yarn quality is exactly what every serious knitter should want. I can't say enough nice things about this company and will continue to order as long as I am able to knit.

        A Great Yarn

        • Vests

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Select DK Merino Superwash:

I bought several different colors for several adult cardigans and pullovers for myself. I am allergic to most wools but can wear a good merino. This yarn is soft and comfortable for me. I have only completed one pullover at this time, but have worn and washed it once. There was slight pilling. I don't know what will happen after several wearings and washings. I am now working on a second pullover. The yarn knits up well, holds the cable definitions, and looks good, but has not been washed.

          Best Uses

          • Baby items
          • Light Weight Sweaters

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Select DK Merino Superwash:

I used this yarn for my first knitwear design project (I'll try to include a photo of the completed sweater). I wanted a lightweight yarn that wouldn't pill and this yarn lived up to my expectations. However, the columns of knit stitches didn't knit even. Let me try to explain. The "V" of the knit stitch, rather than laying open, created a tight rope effect up the left leg of the "Vs". After blocking it was less noticeable but still there.
