This is a very easy yarn to knit with. The structure of the plies prevents splitting, so it would be great for beginners. I am knitting an Aran pattern with this, and though it is fuzzy and does have a felted appearance, the cables look amazing.
The color depth is also very superior compared to some tweeds. I love it!
