Rittenhouse Semi Solid is a 5 ply, 100% wool yarn. It's incredibly soft and springy, with a smooth hand. Rittenhouse will work up with excellent stitch definition, and in these gorgeous, hand-dyed colors, what's not to love?

Experience the lustrous feel of this yarn hand dyed by artisans throughout the Manos del Uruguay cooperatives. Rittenhouse is hand dyed in large kettles to create a marbleized, subtly striated effect that forms a rich palette of glorious colors. No two skeins are exactly alike and there are no dye lots. Colors may vary greatly.

We recommend buying enough yarn to complete a project. If there is great difference between skeins, we recommend working two rows from one skein and two rows from another skein to give an overall blended effect. Made in Uruguay.
