A fabulous yarn for a simple knit sweater. Just use stockinette for your main stitch as patterns would not show. The coloration and dying are outstandingly beautiful. After you wear it several times the angora blooms and creates a fabric in which the stitches almost disappear. The end result is a show stopper garment.

I ordered the beautiful lavender color of this yarn and when it arrived I was so disappointed. It turns out that the color pictured is not the real color. There is a small amount of lavender tones in this yarn but it is mostly PINK. The pink does not show up in the website photo. If it did I would not have ordered this color. It is unfortunate that ordering yarn online often results in colors that are different than shown.

        Comments about Noro Nadeshiko:

I LOVE this yarn! The colors are gorgeous and flow beautifully from one to the next, and the texture and softness are lovely. The angora makes hats, mitts, and scarves extra warm and cozy--great for cold weather wear. I recently made a pair of mittens with it, and found it easy to work with, even with smaller needles. The fabric produced was beefy and dense, almost like it was felted, but soft and flexible. A sweater made from this yarn might even be too warm.

          Comments about Noro Nadeshiko:

I purchased this yarn in 4 different colorways and have so far completed 3 separate projects. The pattern I used was the Arette cape pattern #337 (can be purchased as a download). Nadeshiko was perfectly interchangeable with the recommended yarn and in fact is much more beautiful and interesting. I made one for my sister, and one for each of my two daughters, now one for me. Yarn requirements for this pattern is between 2 - 3 hanks of Nadeshiko. Try it, you won't be sorry. Yarn is so lovely I can accept slight shedding due to angora.

          Service and delivery comments:

great customer service in answering my phone questions and prompt delivery. I only buy my yarn from Yarn.com.

            Comments about Noro Nadeshiko:

This yarn is so soft compared to the other Noro yarns which, although I love the colours, won't use because of their texture. When you wash this yarn the angora simply blooms!

I love the colour, it is so different from anything else I have and I can imagine I will be getting a few comments (I hope)!

I was disappointed with the amount of joins in each skein particularly as this is a thick yarn and makes it difficult to join without a huge knot.

I would definitely recommend this yarn...

I plan to knit a sweater coat for a gift. Love the warm fuzzy feel of the fiber and at this needle size it will be a snap to knit. Color is great. I knit a sweater out of this yarn and am always told how beautiful my sweater looks when wearing it.

It gets even softer as you work with it.
