I love the softness of this yarn. Really the only complaint that I have is that the hanks were so twisted that it was a real bear to wind. I wanted to tear my hair out winding them but the sweater I made is so worth it! This is the softest yarn and the colors are beautiful.

I love Malabrigo yarns but I had only worked with single ply versions like Worsted. This yarn has all the benefits of Worsted - the softness and gorgeous colors and none of the drawbacks of a single ply yarn. Twisted has 8 plies. It is nice and springy and a pleasure to work with.

My husband finally agreed to let me knit him a sweater and he wanted it made from cashmere. Well, not having $$$$$ to make it, I showed him the Twist yarn. He picked the gray green, which is more of a light teal and it's knitting up like a dream! I'm making the Pure and Simple Henley and I'm enjoying it and he's going to be a happy guy! He won't wear a scratchy sweater and this is soooo soft that I know I'll have to tear it off him, I'm certain it'll be his favorite. The stitch definition is clear, the yarn is soft and the color varigation it lovely. BUY this yarn, you'll LOVE it!!

my favorite yarn. period. I'm a compulsive knitter, and sadly, allergic to most wools. EXCEPT for this yarn!! It's unbelievably soft, snuggly, and lovely. Can be worn next to skin, with no irritation. I knitted a slouchy hat with loads of cables & bobbles, and it's fab.. people ask to touch it every time I wear it. Much better stitch definition compared to Malabrigo worsted.

This yarn is unbelievably beautiful and soft. Knitting with it is a sensual pleasure and seeing the finished rows come off the needles is so exciting. The colors blend so incredibly and it has a wonderful softness and springy-ness that I have not experienced, even in some of the priceyist yarns out there. It is a value that is beyond compare. I have not knitted with anything as pleasurable as Twist and I would expect to pay ALOT more for this beautiful yarn had I just seen and felt it. Try some, you'll love it, too. I agree wholeheartedly with the other reviewer; it is more of a worsted class and does have a tiny bit of thick and thin going on. For scarves and shawls, it is superb!

This is wonderful, buttery-soft yarn!! The softest wool that I have ever felt, and it does not itch! I have worn the scarf I made snugly around my neck with no itching and no rash, and I am not able to wear most wool. It glides like fine silk through your fingers as you work. I wanted to sleep on a pile of it as a pillow, it's so soft! I used the azul color, and it is a wonderful deep but still bright indigo blue with subtle variations that come from the hand dying process. The yarn is a heavy worsted class, but I would classify it more as worsted, as it has a bit of a thick-thin thing going on. I never thought wool could be this great!
