I used this yarn to knit the Fair Isle Hat (#8) in the Vogue Knitting Fall 2011 magazine. I knit the pattern as published (garter stitch band) and knit one using 2X2 ribbing. I was very pleased with both--the color choices are lovely, the yarn is soft and warm, and nice quality. It's one of my favorite yarns.

Texture: I found the yarn slightly scratchy when I was working with it, but it loses some of that when washed. The result is a soft, warm product. Colors: I couldn't be happier. The colors are rich and gorgeous.(I bought the blueberry mix.) Suggested Use: My experience is limited, I used the yarn to make a scarf. It holds patterns well, I am a messy crocheter but the yarn held up to my abuse well. I would recommend for scarves, shawls, gloves/mittens, caps and similar cold weather accessories.
