Comments about Noro Iro:
I purchased three different colorways from the discontinued colors and made three sweaters using the Basic Chunky Cardigan sweater from Knitting Noro. I had very few knots and the sweaters knitted up very quickly. They softened right up when I blocked them. They are beautiful - two are gifts and one I kept for myself. I loved working with the yarn and wearing the sweater.

Comments about Noro Iro:
Paired 1 skein of this with a skein of lacewt mohair to make a "scribble lace" stole knit on 10mm/US15 needles, with wonderful results. I think the yarn works best as an "accent", not as the main performer. It is uneven and has slubs/threads.

Comments about Noro Iro:
The colors were nice and typical Noro, but every skein has at least two knots and they were not merely breaks in the yarn. Each knot started a completely new color (and often vastly different colors) which made it hard to have any sort of consistency in color changes. I worked from 5 different skeins at once which I think is ridiculous.

Comments about Noro Iro:
I wanted to use these yarns for hats to sell in our gallery or to give as gifts. No way! Coarse, stiff, pulls apart with little effort, too many knots, debris, etc. Given the rave reviews, I was surprised and disappointed. There are so many other beautiful yarns with great textures and colorways. I'll spend my yarn money elsewhere.

Comments about Noro Iro:
I used this yarn in a number of colors, including some discontinued, to crochet several simple hats. Although the yarn is coarse feeling to work with, the finished fabric softened with use on the hat I made for myself, and now feels very nice to the touch. Since a single hat uses less than one skein and takes about 35 minutes using an L or M hook, I used the leftovers to make belts and headbands in Tunisian simple (I or J hook). The headband I kept for myself softened right up after I stretched it a couple of times, and now feels very nice.
The colorways work very will with my pattern, making a self-striping effect so that the hats look as if I changed colors for each row. Excellent yarn for this use.

Comments about Noro Iro:
Knotty and rough to the touch--which was very disappointing given the beautiful colors.
Comments about Noro Iro:
I bought two skeins and wasn't thrilled to find knots in both skeins. I didn't like the thick/thin aspects of the yarn, but the finished project turned out well.
Comments about Noro Iro:
I love this yarn. It is soft, easy to work with and so far not any odd knot's or joins. That's saying a lot since I am going onto my 5th skein of yarn! I am making a square 10 stitch blanket and I am loving this yarn so much I am thinking of adding two more skeins just so I can keep knitting with it!! I highly recommend this yarn, try it, you'll love it.
