I really, really like Happy Feet. It is soft and comfortable to wear on my feet. It is definitely not itchy at all, and I would definitely gift socks made from this yarn to others. But... When it comes to socks, I would prefer that they are machine washable and dryable. These are, actually, even though the label indicates that they are not. But, they do felt after several washings. When they felt, they don't lose any of their softness. It's almost a good felting that makes the socks stronger. I personally like that they have felted, but if you do not like felted socks, and you decide to machine wash and dry them, then you will be disappointed. My only other comment is that the color repeats are very short in this multi-colored yarn. Only about 2 or 3 stitches in most cases. This is also not a problem, but something to be aware of when selecting a pattern for this beautiful yarn! I just did my standard 3 x 1 rib socks, and they look pretty good!

Great to knit with, awesome colors. Panicked when I washed & dried in machine because label said hand wash only(I forgot!) but they came out beautiful. Looked felted (scary)out of the wash but are the softest, comfiest socks in the drawer. Similar to but better than XXLTrekking. I think I've knit all the colors, just waiting for new.
