I used this product for cabled gloves and it worked up beautifully! This is one of my favorite yarns to work with because it is so soft, has a smooth texture and is washable. Love this yarn!

Nice soft yarn-beautiful hand, shows great stitch definition and available in many lovely colors. And like most of the Valley yarn line, very economically priced. I have only one gripe about this yarn. I found out by accident that it shrinks and will keep shrinking. And it felts too. I had a pair of socks go from a 11.5" long foot to a 7" long foot. I love this yarn for nice heavy cozy socks but will only use it AFTER I pre shrink the dickens out of it (boiling water-ice bath X5 shock) It's a great yarn but be careful washing the finished garment.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This is one of my favorite yarns. SO soft and squishy. I much prefer this to Cascade 220 Superwash which I find still has a bit of an "itch" factor. This is just plain baby soft. I also think the Valley has more bounce, and maybe it's just me but it seems a bit heavier (as in more like an aran) which I like.
