Fibre Company Road to China Light

Comments about Fibre Company Road to China Light:
I used this yarn to make a lace shawl with innumerable cable crossings. The yarn did not split and the stitches held their shape (while cabling without a cable needle).

Saw a pattern for a dress made of this yarn in Vogue. Order it from WEBS. Great price. Have an alergy to wool but yarn is supper soft and is knitting up better than any yarn I have ever used and I have been knitting for over 50 years.

I love the feel and texture of the yarn however, I was disappointed by the color. It has a "flat" quality.

Comments about Fibre Company Road to China Light:
One of the softest yarns that I have ever use, but one skein of the four was different than the others and I didn't notice until it was too late. They were all of the same dye lot so this was disappointing. I might still use this yarn again, but I would be very careful to examine the color for consistency. I also hoped that it would even out after soaking, but that did not help.

Comments about Fibre Company Road to China Light:
I knit a beanie with this yarn, and honestly people just ADORE it. It almost feels like you have nothing on your head. So light, so soft, it melts in your hands. Has a pretty halo, and makes beautiful drapey holes in your lace patterns. LOVE this yarn! I don't know about hold up for well used items like gloves, sweaters etc. But the beanie still looks perfect. Will definitely buy again!
