Misti Alpaca Hand Paint Sock

Misti Hand Paint Sock Yarn is a cozy addition to the Misti Alpaca line. The colors are gorgeous and you won't believe how soft the finished socks will be. Misti Hand Paint Sock would also be great for heavier weight shawls and wraps. Made in Peru.

(There are two type of Alpaca producing various yarn types). I like the fact that this product is light weight; very warm, and gorgeous color pathways. I made a sweater out of some Alpaca products, and love everything about it!
Also, this is a strong yarn... who could ask for more??

I bought this yarn to specifically make socks with it. The color I chose was Monte Carlo. Maybe it was the color choice that threw me off, but what I noticed as I was knitting with this was that the yarn gets VERY fuzzy, and when you have to frog your work a bit, it snags. There are positives to this yarn, being that it is very soft and the colors are wonderful. Just wish I had made something other than socks with the color I chose!

Just finished EZ Baby surprise jacket for new born, plus hat and booties, all from one skein with left-overs. Wow. Should be washable (I have not tried yet) Washable sock yarn makes great baby clothes. Washable and it frees you from tepid pastel prison.

Completely useless for making anything other than socks, due to the incredibly SHORT repeats. We're talking 4-5 inches, here. Looks terrible and muddy in a shawl.

I bought this to make holiday gifts for family, and couldn't be more delighted with the colors in this skein. My kids like really soft and comfy socks, and this yarn delivers! It has been a pleasure to knit with it, as it feels so nice in the hand. I would definitely buy it again to try different colors.
