Bought 10 skeins because I adored the color shift. Finally chose the pattern "DRAPE FRONT CARDI"...and realized that I needed a LOT more yarn! No problem with this colorway on this project. Got my additional 10 skeins and the way the colors flow into each other it's going to be one gorgeous sweater!

I loved this product when I first saw it online. I felt that it would be best shown knitted side to side, so I'm knitting a shoulder warmer. It's a large square with a 5" "U" in the middle, set a bit more than half way up. The colors do vary ball to ball, but by parting the strands you can see what's underneath and strategize the order in which you knit them. Overall, I'm loving working with this!

I was going to use this for an afghan but started to knit and the yellow/purple combination visually turned to grey. In anything but stockinette, this just looked awful. I recommend staying away from color M32. Otherwise, the yarn has a nice feel. I might try another colorway.

Knitted a child's sweater and the color ways came out beautifully, subtle pastels but note the caution in the description, all colors might not on a ball of yarn so plan ahead.

I ordered some of this yarn to teach myself entrelac by making a simple scarf. The result was so lovely that everyone who has seen it says, "I want one." So while it is available, I have ordered more yarn in most of the color combinations to make Christmas and birthday presents. So far, I have not gotten bored with the repetition because it is so much fun to watch the colors change as I knit. That said, I do share some of the concerns that others have expressed. The color stands are so long and many of the balls have so little color variation that large portions of some of my scarves are the same or a similar color, even when I am thoughtful about the order of the balls. This is not a horrible problem with a scarf or shawl, but I would never use this yarn for a sweater.

I brought this yarn because i loved the colors. i got it home and my daughters both wanted afghans made out if it so I brought lots more of it. I love the way it looks and the feel of it. It has been fun to work with.

I purchased this for a simple project: working a cover for a worn purse. My pattern was a simple square pouch, worked in the round in single crochet. Pulling the yarn from the center of the ball, i worked quickly, spurred on by my desire to see what the next color change would be. It was a delight and the final product has delighted the recipient.

The warning that the color shifts are long should be taken to heart. My six balls all seemed to have different personalities and i still did not get all the colors in the pattern. Attention in queuing the balls should be taken: my first step was to match up as best i could the beginnings of balls to ends so the color shifts would seem part of the design as opposed to abrupt shifts. I was successful in having mostly easy transitions ball to ball.

I am Obsessed with this yarn. Having grownup "a hippie", I have a deep appreciation of the tie-dye look. This is tie-dye of and for the 21st century. I have purchased 180 balls of this yarn, enuff to make 12 sweaters, most of which I am giving to my friends. I have knit some sweaters in the matching and following colors motif and some in stripes, especially the yarns that have the least change in color variation. The stripes really look swell! It's all about the yarn for me and this yarn makes me happy. The garments MUST be washed by hand. The wool loves to shrink and felt.
