This yarn is rustic and not next-to-the-skin-soft. It would be interesting to try felting it, since it's so easy to join the ends invisibly with that technique. It's so much fun to combine 2 colourways in my doubleknit scarf I will probably order more for a hat and who knows what else before winter gets here.

My new favorite yarn! The colors are so rich and subtle and combine interestingly with each other. The rough texture doesn't bother me - I think they left some of the lanolin in, because after I knit a while, my hands feel softer. Please get colors EB and ED ASAP!

I wouldn't use this for anything that is to be next to the skin, but this would be PERFECT for outerwear. I am knitting a shawl with it, and the long color repeats are wonderful! At 660 yards, I have no fear of running out at the very end. I am seriously considering using this yarn to make a coat in the future.

This yarn is a little coarse to the touch but the color effects are stunning. I knit my first shawl and the way the colors blended really set off the pattern. I can't wait to try something else. The yardage is very good also!
