I used 3 shades of this yarn for socks, and they all knitted beautifully. I used steel DPNs for the first pair of socks, but found that wooden ones are easier to work with while using this yarn. I have 40+ years of knitting experience, and this is one of the most beautiful yarns I worked with. Highly recommended. Just ordered a few more skeins. Happy New Year!

I love this yarn. The colors are absolutely stunning. It is very soft and after washing it gets even softer. It snags a little but is normal with this type of wool.

I love the long color changes on this, but the yarn wasn't much fun to knit. It splits like crazy and is remarkably inelastic for wool. The final product wasn't as nice as I was expecting, either, especially given how expensive this is. The socks I made are still quite scratchy after four washings. If it were feltable I'd find a use for this yarn; as it is, I'll not buy it again.
