I just received a skein of Alizaria and find that the colors are quite brown compared to the pink hue of the sample this website. I was expecting the shades to be much more pink. Although the yarn looks great to work with, please take the disclaimer about inaccurate colors to heart!

Fabulous yarn for just about any project you'd knit or crochet with worsted weight. Colors are incredibly rich, texture is soft against the skin and any project made with this yarn will wear extremely well and last! A bit pricey but great skein yardage and discountable which makes this my all-time favorite yarn for any project. Quality is so good it's worth the price.

This is a lovely yarn to work with. I just made myself a long sweater using 8 skeins, which was on the expensive side, but so worth it. My yarn came from a recent lot (I assume) and did not really relax much with washing. Given the previous reviews I think that Madelinetosh may have changed the base yarn used in earlier lots - that's the only explanation I can think of. Given how much yarn I was using, and the cost involved, I wanted to make sure to soak my swatch thoroughly to get a true result - so it was in the wash water for over 20 minutes before thorough rinsing and blocking. to my surprise, I only gained about 5% b blocking it to that size, which was perfect for the sweater I knit. And also shows how important it is to do a swatch! Agree with other reviewers about stitch definition and absolutely love this yarn. Will be buying more for lots and lots of other projects.

This yarn has incredible color depth and shine. It is so round and full giving it incredible stitch definition. It does relax somewhat with a wash, so be sure to wash your swatch!
