Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage:
Because this is a hand-dyed yarn the colors may vary from the images online. I strongly recommend calling and talking to a representative before purchacing. The pattern I used needed two contrasting colors. My first order did not work because I relied on what I saw online. I then called and they were very helpful in coordinating what I needed.

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage:
I would like to suggest all of your order deliveries be in plastic or some type of container. I'm not happy to see yarn sitting on top of my bagged yarn.
I use this yarn mostly for sweaters since that's mostly what I knit. Sometimes I will also knit accessories to go with the sweaters, like hats, gloves, scarves. I find the yarn nice to work with and I'm happy with the results.

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage:
vintage is great to work with. I usually have to go up a needle size or two to get gauge, but once I get gauge its smooth sailing.
The color-way I was using "Steven loves Tosh" did have a lot more orange at the heavier weight when compared to the merino light fingering version, but I love the colors do didn't mind the shift.

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage:
LOVE the colors of Mad Tosh, BUT be sure to get enough of the same dye lot for your project. The shades vary a lot within the same color name.
Service and delivery comments:
Just wanted to say how much I appreciated the service from WEBS. The Mad Tosh Vintage has quite a range in the shades of each particular color and I needed a specific hue. I wrote a note explaining this and was sent the perfect skein. Thank you for listening to my problem and responding to it :)

Comments about Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage:
I love Tosh Vintage, it's so soft yet durable. I'm knitting my first sweater with it, and I definitely need a yarn that can handle lots of tinking, ripping, and yes, total frogging. The Tosh Vintage still looks pristine!
The only con was that the Graphite, although supposed to be a dark grey, had lighter sections that had a strange greenish tinge. I didn't like it at all, so I overdyed it with some grey dye. It turned out really well, but it's always a risk! I prefer greys that are truly neutral.
I've used Tosh Vintage in colours, and they're amazing. Really rich and luscious. No issues there!
