This was my first order and use of Tosh DK and it's a very good experience. I have the Bark colourway, the skeins have been quite well matched, and the colour received matched my expectations from the online pictures. Tosh DK is nice and soft to use, knits up quite quickly, it does occasionally split a little but nothing major. Skeins were easy to wind up into balls, no tangling. My cardigan looks good although not quite finished yet. The only minus is the price - Madelinetosh is not cheap, but admitedly those are really nice and good quality yarns and we get some nice discounts here, so I should be ordering again :)

Although this yarn is lovely to work with, I was disappointed in the colours. I ordered four different shades and I was only happy with one of them. I found the others to be very dark and muddy. I will use those for socks but I was hoping for "cheery-er" colours for scarves/hats.

Normally I work in plant fibers. I found this yarn to be incredibly springy with a high twist. Very easy to crochet, lovely look to the hand-dyed yarn. I haven't tried washing it yet, but understand it may relax quite a bit.

WHile I love the colors, DK is simply too thin and flimsy for me. When used double it makes good mittens and caps. But I am a baby blanket creator and boy's sweater maker. So I prefer the heavier ply yarn.
