This is a fantastic cotton yarn! I love the feel of cotton and the colors are typical of Malabrigo products -- sharp and well worth the money. I have ordered several colors and have not been disappointed in any. Makes tremendous gifts for family and friends!

I ordered the color "plata" which means silver in Spanish and appears to be a lovely silver grey on the Webs site. The yarn that was shipped was definitely beige though marked "plata." Webs customer service was helpful as always, offering to take back the yarn.I kept it.
Be aware of color issues. So far the yarn is knitting perfectly to gauge but I can't fully evaluate it until the sweater is washed and blocked and worn.

I spend a lot of time on the WEBS site shopping for the perfect yarn for my project looking for variated color in the yarn. Settled on Alabastro as the photo depicts it to be 2 DIFFERENT neutral shades. SO DISSAPOINTED that it actually is not. It is the darker color depicted in the photo. Don't get me wrong, the color I recieved is lovely, just not what was intended for my project.

I bought two of these and the material is beautiful, no doubt but had two tries at unwinding and had a very difficult time. In my 10 years of textile experience, this was by far the most terrible tangle. And I really did everything right, especially the second time.

Ok sorry, I just finished unwinding it the second time and it wasn't so bad. I am about to weave with it and look forward to see how it washes up.
