Manos Cotton Stria is a soft, 100% cotton from the folks at Manos del Uruguay. Kettle dyed in stunning colors, you'll love working this yarn into garments as well as accessories. Don't miss out on this closeout!
Manos Cotton Stria yarn is a super soft Peruvian cotton that is hand dyed in large kettles to create a marbleized, subtly striated effect. No two skeins are exactly alike and there are no dye lots. We therefore recommend buying enough yarn to complete a project. If there is a strong variation in color between skeins, alternate 2 rows from one skein with two rows from another to create an overall blended effect.

This yarn is so easy to knit up. I just completed a baby sweater and the knitted fabric is so pretty. A few washes and I bet it looks like chenille. It stretches, so large garments probably wouldn't work - adult sweaters, for example - but I would definitely buy this again.

I bought this yarn to make a cardigan. I tried three different patterns but as I worked on it, the piece stretched so much that I gave up. I am not a novice knitter so I was disappointed. I don't think I'll ever use it.
