Mirasol Qina is an incredibly soft blend of baby alpaca and bamboo. You'll be amazed at how soft this combination is. The bamboo in Mirasol Qina also adds a beautiful sheen to the yarn. The two fibers take the dye differently giving the yarn a stunning appearance. Made in Peru.
I bought this yarn by the bagful because I was so impressed by the color and feel of the fiber. When I started knitting with it I couldn't put it down. I only wish I bought more of it to keep it in my stash.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Lovely yarn!! Delightful to work with, so beautiful you want to stop after every row to admire it! When I'm done, it's going to be hard to decide if I want to wear my sweater or frame it and hang it on the wall!!
I'm knitting a cardigan with the mulberry and everyone says "what a beautiful color" as soon as they see it. The yarn has a lovely subtle sheen and depth of color. It is very soft and very nice to knit with. It is drapy and not as springy as wool, but also has more spring and elasticity than 100% bmboo. I expect I'll love wearing it!
Perfect for lace scarves...incredibly soft. The bamboo may stretch a bit so a pattern that considers this is recommended (probably not best for a garment with great length, thus additional weight or need for much handling to put on, but rather a lace cowl or gloves, etc. Sharper needle points are also recommended--lifting it with your needle point is like trying to lift light roving or a cotton ball! Lovely & warm against the skin. For the right project, the garment is pure class and pure luxury. A real showstopper!
