This makes very cute, very quick children's charity hats. I made a ton last winter and they were huge hits. This bulky weight yarn knits up super fast and looks really, really cute in a hat. And it's superwash! I found that it softens up considerably after washing and drying.

I purchased this to make crocheted toy octopuses for children's gifts. The fact that it's superwash was a huge factor and it crocheted up quickly and easily.
I've not worked with a bulky fiber that was "braided" like this before, but found it to be easy to use. The pattern I chose called for size G and size J crochet hooks - the J was the better fit, but the G worked (though I would have preferred an H, but it worked).
Overall, I am very happy with the fiber and would use it again for this purpose, or for a bulky garment.
