Fabulous shades, colors rub off on hands
from Atlanta, GA
Ordered the Galaxy shade and was completely taken with the rich, saturated shade; so, I ordered several more to add to my stash.
When I finally got around to using the yarn, I was disappointed because the dye came off easily as I was knitting - staining my hands and wooden needles. The finished object will almost certainly run, so I won't be using this in any multicolor projects.
Jilly is on the light side of the fingering weight yarns and is very difficult to frog; I fought it, but had to cut out sections in the end.
I will use what I have, but wouldn't buy it again. The colors are wonderful though.
Merchant response: Hand dyed yarns may have some excess dye on them that could rub off while you're working with the yarn. You can soak the project when you're done with it until the water runs clear and should not have a problem with any future color running. Please feel free to contact us with any questions at all.

By knitting in Berkeley
from Berkeley, CA
I ordered the Sangria color and I'm thrilled with it. The varigation is subtle so it doesn't have any obvious pooling or striping. It feels great and is wonderful to work with.

Using this to make a shawl. I'm loving that it doesn't split as I knit with it, as I've had that problem with many other single ply yarns. The colors are great and the drape is really nice. I will definitely buy this again.
