Comments about 2/8 Wool Mill End:
I wove a twin size blanket using this wool and it turned out beautiful. It's quite soft after washing and after two months of regular use it's not pilling at all. I did run across a few knots here and there off the cone, but nothing that couldn't be worked around for this price and quality.
Comments about 2/8 Wool Mill End:
I knit a lovely fingering weight sweater with this yarn - the lovely Slow Line cardigan. The yarn is springy but soft enough for skin, and blocks well.
It does pill a bit because of the softness, but a sweater shaver is your friend.
For the price, a great deal, and nice to not have to weave any ends in.
Pros
- Great Colors
Cons
- A little splitty
Best Uses

I like getting yarn on a cone. It makes doing a project easier if I know I have enough yarn to complete it without keeping tract of where I put the 'other' skeins.
