Berroco Linus

Dyed with saturated tones and cool off-whites, Berroco Linus is a uniquely constructed linen blend with rustic sophistication. This worsted weight, crepe-textured yarn shows off stitch definition beautifully and becomes even more lovely with wear. Made in Italy

I am currently making a tank based on a Berroco booklet pattern and I love working with this yarn! The texture is nubby as with any linen yarn but the tape-like construction make it a little interesting. Due to this construction, you have to be a little careful while knitting with it or use needles that do not have a sharp point or it will catch. Overall, the drape is very nice and I will use this again for other garments.

    poor product control

    By catgaglione

    See all my reviews

knitting with three colors. Black and gray are wide, like a ladder while white is thin, almost like a piece of string. This affects the appearance as the colors don't show equally and I have to throw some extra rows of white in between my 12 row pattern to visually balance the colors. Bummer.

    tricky to work with

    By czecher

This yarn was recommended to knit Arc, a pattern of Norah Gaughan's. Although it is soft to touch, I found the splitting to be an issue.
