Comments about Noro Karuta:
I used Karuta to knit the WINGSPAN SHAWL (see Ravelry for free pattern).
It took exactly 2 skeins because I extended the border. It made a lovely shoulder shawl - just the right size. The shawl will be used for the Shawl Ministry at my church.

Comments about Noro Karuta:
knits up fast and easy and is really soft and colorful; however i believe each skein had at least one knot which is disappointing to me. luckily i usually knit things in a boho/free form style so i can incorporate the knots but i still don't like to have to deal with them. i have run into this with most noro yarns.

Comments about Noro Karuta:
i am a huge fan of noro and this is especially soft. what i find disappointing in most noro yarns is there's almost always a knot or two! even in the sock yarn but the colors more than make up for it!

Comments about Noro Karuta:
I love Noro yarns, but for the money I would not expect a big knot in the middle of the skein. And wait, there's more! The yarn before the knot is a heavier guage than the yarn after the knot. Fun, yes? NOT. We will have to see how the other skeins are and how the sweater looks after completion before I can say if I would recommend this yarn. But the colors are amazing!

Comments about Noro Karuta:
First time using Noro brand. Very disappointed with Karuta, it snaps too easily. I'm making a simple knit/purl scarf, have knitted only 14 inches and the yarn has snapped over four times (I am not a tight knitter)! Bought two skeins, wound both and they both had knots.
I will not order this yarn again, but will definitely order from WEBS again. My order was fulfilled very quickly and customer service was helpful in offering options when I called about yarn.
