I am in the process of knitting a lacy pattern top with this, and it is beautiful. The yarn is very irregular (thick/thin), but I haven't found it a problem when I use bigger needles (the suggested needles are actually US 6 to 8, or 4.00 mm to 5.0 mm). I am using 5 and 5.5 mm needles for this pattern and it is perfect. I tried making a garment with 4mm needles (US6), but found the yarn way too bulky. On bigger needles it isn't a problem, and the colours are gorgeous!

I agree that this yarn should be used for simple patterns - no complicated texture knitting. I too have found knots, but even though it is a blend, I have been able to "felt" the ends together. Made the sweater in the new Flowers book and it turned out just beautiful.

This yarn is very pretty. Because of the texture and thick-thin nature, I would suggest keeping your projects simple. I've used about 3 balls of this stuff. One ball had two knots in it. Otherwise let the yarn be the pattern...the colors are gorgeous.
