As soon as I started knitting with this yarn, I felt an addiction coming on. It's smooth, easy to knit with, and has great stitch definition. Not at all scratchy. I knit a pair of fingerless gloves for my rather particular teenage sister, and she loves them. I didn't find it at all splity. I only used two skeins, but no quality problems with either.
