Comments about Plymouth Yarn Earth Homestead:

Used it for a sweater and knew I'd love it as soon as it came out of the package. The brown was loftier than the natural, but both sprang to life as soon as the yarn band came off and the skein opened for winding. Haven't worn the sweater much as Spring came too quickly so I can't speak to wear issues yet. Would definitely buy again.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Earth Homestead:

I got this yarn to make the Solstice cardigan. The yarn is beautiful and has a wonderful sheep smell. Not strong, dirty, or gross, but like it came from nature. The hanks were easy to wind and I think there was a total of one knot in seven hanks. It is a solid worsted weight and shows definition pretty well, so would be good for cables or other kinds of stitch patterns. It is somewhat scratchy, bothering me only around the collar. I'd say this would be a good yarn to wear a light tshirt under. Overall, I like it a lot and would get it again.

          Love this yarn!

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Earth Homestead:

I'm knitting a sweater/jacket out of this yarn. It's perfect for this project. I would recommend this yarn for thick, warm sweaters and jackets. I also knit a pair of slippers out of it. We have very cold floors and my feet are always warm now.
After sitting in my stash for a few weeks the yarn smells like sheep again. It feels and looks the way wool should to me.

I'm making a dolman sleeved seater with stripes of cream and brown/dk brown Homestead. The cream, now sold out, knits at 4.75/inch and the brown at 4 /inch (as on the label). Both yarns look great when knitted, but I've never had two colors of the same yarn knit up so differently.
