Perfect yarn when knitting for kids
I used Encore to knit twin-size afghans for my three grandkids. Patterns show up great and there are many cool colors to choose from.

Bought to make afgan for wedding gift, color way off so do not know what I will use all the yarn for. Just do not count on needing it to be the color shown when you need a lot of the same color and same dye lot, it looked creamy and said it was vanilla then turned out to be yellow. I would recommend it just as a yarn.

When I need a yarn to make items with easy care, I turn to Encore for its washability, durability and content. It's especially good for knitted gifts when the recipient isn't likely to want to hand wash items. It's soft for its content, but after some thought, I did give it 4 stars only because I know there are softer yarns out there. Still in all, I highly recommend the yarn.

I'm thrilled to have the chance to comment here because overall service is excellent, however on my last order it was even better. The order arrived amazingly fast, but did have an error.(BTW: I've never had an order error before) One phone call and WEBS sent the correction at the speed of lightening!!!!! with apologies and outstanding customer service. Encore is my go to yarn when knitting for babies and children. It is easy to knit, stands up to hard use and many trips through the washing machine and dryer. There are a wide array of colors from which to choose and I have always been able to find what I need in the choices offered. I love knitting with wool, but when you need a yarn that is easy care, soft to wear, and comes in many colors, Encore is "wooly" enough for me!
