Yarn has great combination of acrylic/wool for our very mild southern winters. Not too hot, with just the right amount of wool to make sweater warm for the grandkids. Love the beautiful array of colors and, best of all, it's machine washable for the moms. Will continue to add more to stash, especially at the Sale prices! I use it mostly to make them sweaters and hats - they pick their colors..

I've used this yarn (in all weights and in tweed, solid colors, and colorspun) for a long time. This is my standard for blankets for babies and adults. Some colors are not as soft as others but I have found that after one washing they are all equally soft. I don't know what I will do if they ever stop making it. It washes and dries like a dream and lasts for years. I now have a sweater which is at least 12 years old and it is finally showing some wear at the edge of the cuff. I can fix that. Other than that, it shows no wear and it's been washed countless times.

I have made many items with this yarn hats, booties, sweaters mostly for baby and kids. Made a blanket for my baby also and it's great, easy to care, warm and shows lace and aran so beautifuly, my favorite blanket.

This is the first time that I've used this yarn. I was very pleased. I made a sweater for my step- granddaughter using royal blue with white dots inter-spursed every 8 rows. The finished product is beautiful. I will be ordering this yarn again in other colors.

Love the colors of this yarn, but was disappointed in the feel. It has a slight roughness, which eliminates it from baby blankets, etc... Also, it seems to pill a bit. Haven't washed it yet, so don't know how that will work.

I order the royal blue in the Plymouth Encore line, as well as the hot pink. The swatch for the royal blue looked perfect on the website, especially for the project that I have planned for it. However, when I received it today, the color was about 5 shades brighter than the swatch on the site shows it to be. I am not sure that I will be keeping it, regardless of the price that I got it at. The weight and the thickness of the yarn is really nice, and I hope that it makes my cables and bobbles pop and really stand out. Disappointed in the actual color though the pink was nice, it didn't match the swatch offered either.
