Perfect yarn when knitting for kids
I used Encore to knit twin-size afghans for my three grandkids. Patterns show up great and there are many cool colors to choose from.

I make a lot of afghans and blankets but have given up using this yarn. It's readily available so easy to find but it just pills and fuzzes forever. It's nice that it's machine washable but every time I do so I have to spend 1/2 hr or more clipping pills off the article. And I think it loses stitch definition over time.
In spite of it being so easy to find, I think I'm just moving on.

I am using this to knit an afghan for a friend. I am using two strands at a time with the knitting going very quickly. The color choices are great (she likes bright colors which are sometimes hard to find in afghan textures). Not found anything I do not like about this yarn. Nice texture, great color choices, knits up fast. I'm happy.
