This felt great in the hands and smooth to knit but very itchy on the skin so I am very disappointed. I knit the scoop top from Glam Knits and the FO is pleasing but I am not sure I will get much wear out of it. SAD.

I am quite fond of this yarn. The colors are a bit muted from the pictures, which is to be expected of wool. 2279 looks like a ruby and is more raspberry in person. The yellow is a bit more butter colored than the clear light yellow pictured. This makes little to no difference, but I thought it would be good to know. I would buy this again!

This yarn, blue sky melange, and misti alpaca worsted are my go to high end alpaca yarns. No hair, very light halo if at all, more similar to cashmere than alpaca and knit to gauge perfectly on a variety of needles in a variety of sizes. This yarn should be drycleaned in my opinion. If you wash it, it looks like a completely different yarn. Stitches lose definition and some of the luminosity of the yarn is lost. This yarn has great stitch definition and is soft, soft, soft but with loads of substance. It will take the shaping very well in any tailored sweater and the design will not be lost. I knitted a Vogue pattern in it and I love it. Also an aran yoked sweater with cables and bobbles.
