Comments about Plymouth Yarn Tweed:
I'm knitting a sweater/jacket with this yarn and am very happy with the look of the fabric as it knits up. The color and texture are very pretty, and I'm pleased that it's super-wash, so care will be simpler. It knits up quickly without being super bulky.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Tweed:
Colors are fabulous. Can't imagine why it was discontinued. Get on the ball Plymouth! I would definitly buy more of this yarn. If not this same one, then how about something comparable? It was a good price point too!

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Tweed:
This knits fairly easily, and was easy to get back on the needles after I had to rip out a few rows. However, I wouldn't recommend it for next-to-skin wear - it's scratchy and coarse. That being said, it would work well for anything you might wear outdoors, like hats, scarves, or sweaters. The fabric is sturdy and dense. I am knitting a sweater with cables and they look nice in this yarn.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Tweed:
When I found out that this color (and, I believe, yarn) is discontinued, I bought what I could. I'm still trying to make a decision as to what I will knit with it. Beautiful color!

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Tweed:
I used this yarn to make a toy kitty to stuff. When I crocheted the magic loop and pulled the yarn to close the loop the yarn broke. This yarn has no elasticity whatsoever and it is not soft

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Tweed:
Sturdy, somewhat rough -- perhaps too rough for anything touching the skin directly. Using to knit cabled pillow covers for family room and very happy with the result

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Tweed:
I love the colors of this yarn! It is pretty soft, maybe not "scarf" soft, but I could wear this next to the skin. I can't get enough of this, MUST HAVE SWEATER QUANTITIES OF MULTIPLE COLORS.
