I had thought to use this for a specific kind of scarf I make. When I received the yarn, it was apparent that it was closer in weight to DK than to worsted, and so inappropriate for my planned use. Additionally, the yarn is quite coarse. In making a simple five row belt in half double crochet, the yarn wore a groove across the index finger with which I control the tension. I will be able to find uses for the 15 skeins I have, especially at the discounted price, but was quite disappointed.
I can see that the texture would make it would do beautifully for felting, but again, the fact that it is closer to DK than worsted weight is a drawback.
