I bought this originally to make a hunting hat, the color is fine but in all of my research I somehow didn't find out that it was a varying weight, and I was unable to use it for that. I would recommend this for a larger project since in smaller ones the gauge difference will make the edge all wonky.

I was looking for a thick/thin yarn to add variety to a multi-yarn, remnant blanket. It was softer than I expected. The color was beautiful, especially the(goldish)yellow. I only wish hanks were larger.

I bought this yarn for a scarf/cowl to wear on winter mornings - the yarn is soft and feels wonderful on my face - I know it'll keep me warm while dog-walking. Working with the thick-and-thin texture took a bit of getting used to for me, and it does get a little twisted, but it's not too bad. I love the visual interest it adds to the finished knitted fabric.
