I love fair isle and the colors are muted and earthy, however because it is not 100% wool a sewing machine is needed before steeking

Comments about Rowan Felted Tweed:
I had a problem in that your number/name system for the felted tweed and loveknitting.com's system had an error in it (same yarn was labeled differently on the two sites) leading me to have to buy another skein of yarn separately (which I bought from loveknitting because your price is higher than theirs, even given the transatlantic shipping).
Everything else was fine.

I used this yarn for the Levenwick pattern. It's wonderful beautiful! I did need to double it up to obtain gauge = expensive for this project!

Ordered this yarn specifically for a pattern. I usually like a thicker yarn, however, the Felted Tweed knit up so beautifully I am now a big fan.

Best Uses
- Stuffed Animal
Comments about Rowan Felted Tweed:
I used this yarn to knit a 6" stuffed animal modeled after a Brussels Griffin Dog. The color and weight were perfect for the doll. When trying to tighten some matress stitching I did, I tore the yarn, so it needed to be used more delicately. Once knit, it holds durably. I was very pleased with this yarn overall.

Used the product for a wrap. It came out looking as beautiful as in the featured magazine piece. Easy to knit with and the 71 inches went quicker than I thought. Colors gorgeous

Pros
- Dyed Evenly
- Nice Texture
- Soft
Cons
- Knitting looks uneven
- Stretches
- Yarn Join shows
Best Uses
- Lightweight sweaters
- Scarves
Comments about Rowan Felted Tweed:
Gorgeous looking yarn however finished knitting looks uneven due to the fact that the yarn seems to stretch in spots, so when you are knitting in stockinette stitch, sometimes you end up with areas of ragged stitches vs. a tight, even line of stitches. I bought this yarn because the particular pattern called for it and I had never tried it. I probably will not purchase it again.
