It would be nice if they told you that you need 2 skeins, but if you check the yardage you will see that you need 2 skeins. This is lovely yarn and well worth the price.

Absolutely love this yarn - vibrant colors that pop, beautiful stitch definition. One skein is definitely not enough for a pair of socks, so I knit two socks simultaneously to use every inch of yarn evenly (getting a total of 5" of ribbed cuff and diamond-patterned sock to heel and about 5.5" more of foot completed - and wound up finishing toe ends in an Opal Gems complementary solid color (same washable merino in Sport Weight) - it's half the price of Sheep Shop, you only need a partial skein (maybe use the rest for cuff/heel/toe on another pair of socks). I have found repeated washings of washable merino does tend to shrink them a little (but they also get so much softer!); using sock forms to dry definitely helps maintain size.

This is really great yarn. It works up fast and has a lovely sheen to it. I haven't washed them yet. Unfortunately, there is not enough yarn in one skein for a pair of socks. (It will likley work with one skein if you wear a ladies size 6 shoe or smaller). Otherwise, it takes two skeins and is quite costly.
