Comments about Shibui Baby Alpaca DK:

This yarn is a dream to work with. Its weight and handling make me feel like a pro.

I began to crochet two years ago starting with synthetic materials for a major yarn bombing project. I've graduated to Good Yarn and am totally enamored with alpaca. I make neck warmers, mitts, shawls, hats and shrugs.

Comments about Shibui Baby Alpaca DK:

I used this yarn a number of times for ladies sweaters. It knits up great and is really soft. It is warm, but not bulky. The sweaters have a nice drape. This yarn shows the patterns and stitches really nicely. I love this yarn. It does get costly, though, if you need alot of yardage.

Comments about Shibui Baby Alpaca DK:

When you take a lot of pride in your finished garment, it does not pay to knit with anything other than the best on the market. I have used many, many yards of this wonderful yarn for knitting cowls, stoles and wraps. I find the color is extremely consistent, even when I have to add on another skein of the same color with a different dye lot. Also, a strand of this yarn pairs up quitely nicely with a strand of Shibui Silk Cloud for a beautiful "halo". The spit splice method works well with this yarn and so I never have a knot or have to work in yarn ends in any garments knitted with Shibui Baby Alpaca DK. Thanks for offering this super product!
