I made a sublime baby sweater out of this yarn (Sailing) and it is just so beautiful. I only had a couple stitches that split, so I don't think it is too splitty as some have said. It washes beautifully in the machine, the colors did NOT bleed and the stitch definition is fantastic! It is also pretty cheap, so it is my new favorite baby yarn!

A bit splitty, but good overall
Overall, the yarn is a delight to work with, however, it does split easily.

I love this yarn and truly regret that it is being discontinued. The service from Webs is great. I live in a town that has no Yarn Shop and so I rely on Webs to provide me with special yarns

Comments about Berroco Pure Pima:
I love the WEBS discounts, fast service, and excellent choices available for order. This yarn was easy to use, surprisingly durable, and knitted quickly. I made a large blanket with it, and at first, I worried that the yarn would be too flimsy, but that was not so. It made a nice, summer weight blanket. Sewing the seams was easy, too, but I am not sure they will hold up to washings.

This yarn was purchased because it was being discontinued. It is one of the few purchases I've made for a sweater for myself.

Comments about Berroco Pure Pima:
This yarn is so soft and has a great drape, especially for a cotton yarn. The colors are beautiful and shiny, and the yarn is dyed evenly, which is great because you don't have to worry about dye lots when working on your project. It holds up very well to frogging, but does lose some of the sheen the more you frog, and becomes a bit fuzzy. One big con is that the yarn does split easily, and any mistakes you make are very visible because the stitch definition is so great. Even still, its such a great yarn to work with, especially if you can snag it on sale. I have already ordered more!

Comments about Berroco Pure Pima:
I bought this yarn to make a sleeveless Dropps tunic and I love the yarn and weight. (If I wasn't a ding-bat, it might be done right now but I started making the wrong size.) Ultimately, it will be a great tunic but the yarn is a bit difficult to work with as it splits a lot and if not corrected, it shows in the garment. But it's soft, the color is fabulous and the weight is perfect for summer and Florida!

Comments about Berroco Pure Pima:
I made a baby blanket out of this yarn. The stitch definition is great, and for a cotton, it had a nice amount of life to it.
The finished fabric is beautiful, and went through washing very well.
I would definitely use this yarn again.
