I am knitting a shawl for a friend who wanted BLACK mohair. The width of the yarn varies and is difficult to knit (on size 11 needles) not only because it is black (!) but because I never know how thick each strand will be (one strand or 3 to 4) It makes the shawl interesting to look through, but difficult to know if it will hold together through wear!!!
